The Dark Mountain Project runs on enthusiasm, ambition, a sense of mission and quite a lot of caffeine. We receive no external funding, grants or awards. In the first two years of our existence, what money we have made has come from a few small one-off donations by supportive individuals, and through sales of our journals, manifestoes and festival tickets.

We are currently a small, spare-time team. We don’t have any waged staff, overheads or offices. But we do need to pay for printing the journal and organising our events. If you are able to help, then any amount, however small, will be gratefully received and used wisely. We are always happy to discuss the project and its work in more detail with anyone potentially interested in supporting it.
